Mommy? (In honor of my youngest)

My four year old looked at me yesterday and asked me a question I can honestly say I was never prepared to answer.

"Mommy, are you ever gonna marry my Daddy?"

*blinks*

ummmmmm

"Baby? Daddy and I got married the year before your sister was born"

"Oh. I didn't know that."

Then again this is the same kid who still hasn't found it important enough to remember the distinction in names between one grandmother and the other. She calls them "grandma who lives with us" and "nother grandma". *grins* Gotta love her.
