With a Bang

We're starting out 2011 in perfect style.

I checked on my 8 year old in the shower. She'd been upset that I asked her to take a shower before dessert was served. She was afraid she would miss it. I poked my head into the bathroom and asked how much longer she would be.

She told me she would be out shortly and then she said "Hey Mom, there's water dripping from the ceiling.

Because I heard her singing as I entered I said "Were you dancing around and maybe splashed the ceiling?"

She laughed and said "Well, yeah, I probably splashed it. I was jumping"

"You were jumping?"

"Yes, my coach told me I had to practice jumping because I'm gonna be the jumper this year"

"Do you think maybe it's not a very safe place to practice jumping? Since, you could slip or something?

"Oh yeah, I guess that could happen"
